Furthermore, his backstage tenure with agencies like AKAR Co. cemented his commitment to problem-solving, underscoring how operational excellence and precise technical support are essential to safeguarding artistic delivery. My time in the Music and Drama Company (MDC) was pivotal, solidifying my skills as both a creative leader and a technical professional. As the creative head for the Percussion Ensemble, I was responsible for choreographing, writing, and leading a team of percussionists for high-profile shows like the CamoKakis Invasion Show and the ORD Showcase. Furthermore, I applied organizational rigor as Stage Manager for Tekong Recruits' Night, ensuring the seamless flow of the entire production through meticulous cue calling and show producer collaboration.
Collaborating with AKAR Co. significantly sharpened my backstage production expertise within a dynamic talent agency environment. Serving as key stage crew for shows like Resurgence Vol 1 and Field Trip, I closely assisted Stage Managers with rapid and precise musical instrument changeovers. This hands-on experience cemented my ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced live environment while managing the efficient setup and teardown of complex AV equipment.
The founding and management of my band, The Royal Code, showcases my entrepreneurial drive and artistic vision. Developing from a rock-and-roll outlet in 2018 into a fully operational band, I oversee all business and creative development, including strategic collaborations with organizations like Rabak Records and AKAR Co. I maintain the band's professional image by directing all studio recording works and managing their media press kits, demonstrating my commitment to holistic artistic and business management.
